Sufi in the City is a durational, interactive piece, which incorporates dance and digital technology, performed by Sister Elements. Based on the philosophy of the Sufi mystic Sufi in the City is an exploration of the self in relation to the digital other and the urban environment

Workshop this week at Unity Theatre, Liverpool, with Sufi artist Shafeek Ibrahim. Shafeek is the Guiness Book champion for his number of spins. 
The workshop was a part of The Liverpool Arab Arts Festival, and was supported by STUN (Sustained Theatre Up North)
During the workshop, we looked at footwork and technique, and how to reduce dizziness during the spin.
